 Crooked Creek Golf Club
Crooked Creek Golf Club is a unique semi-private golf course located in the rolling hills of southern Wake County just off of US 401 on Hilltop-Needmore Road, a short 12 miles south of downtown Raleigh, and 4 miles north of the charming town of Fuquay Varina. This Chuck Smith designed par 71 golf course opened in 1994. The yardage is 6,271 yards from the Black Tees; 5,701 yards, from the White Tees; 5,183 yards from the Gold Tees and 4,653 yards from the Red Tees. For Juniors, the yardage is 3477 and par is 77. From the White Tees the course has has a course and slope rating of 67.3 / 121 for Men and 73.5 / 135 for for Ladies. The front nine is open and rolling with two par threes and two par fives. There is a gorgeous pond with a fountain on hole number 3.  The longest hole is hole number 7 which is 602 yards long. The back nine is reminiscent of playing in the mountains with several dramatic elevation changes. There are three par threes and two par fives on the back nine with water hazards on holes 13,14, 15 and 16. Crooked Creek Golf Club has a full-service Golf Shop with Professional Golf Lessons and Club Fitting available plus a nice selection of golf apparel. Their practice facilities include a full-size putting green, chipping green and a driving range. The Club also offers a full-service Grill Room that includes a large sitting area with TV's. Facilities are also available for hosting meetings and small receptions. During the Spring and Summer, the Club hosts numerous charity outings, a Men's Golf League, a Ladies Golf League, and golf Camps for the Kids.
